We offer a guaranteed interview scheme\nfor veterans (provided they hold the correct qualifications) and extra leave\nand support for reservists and cadet volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Commenting on the announcement of the 2019 Employer Recognition\nScheme Silver awards, Defence Secretary, Ben Wallace said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThese awards recognise the\noutstanding support for our armed forces from employers across Britain and I\nwould like to thank and congratulate each and every one. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRegardless of size, location\nor sector, employing ex-forces personnel is good for business and this year we\nhave doubled the number of awards in recognition of the fantastic support they\ngive.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Minister for Defence People and\nVeterans Johnny Mercer said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cVeterans make a huge\ncontribution to businesses across the country and it\u2019s fantastic to see a\nrecord breaking number of organisations recognised for their support.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe\u2019re working closely with businesses\nto help them further understand the huge value that veterans, reservists and\nmilitary spouses can bring to their organisation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Cobra will be presented the award on the 4th of September 2019 by\nHer Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire in the National Museum of the\nRoyal Navy in Portsmouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Cobra has been awarded a Silver award from Armed Forces Employer\u00a0Recognition Scheme.
